Programme
Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Concerto in D major op. 61
Boris Blacher "Pentagramm" (italian premiere)
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Symphony n. 35 in D major K 385 "Haffner"

For his much-awaited return to the Auditorium di Milano in his by now traditional role as conductor and violinist, Kolja Blacher will propose a programme entirely dedicated to the golden age of Viennese music, from young Mozart’s classicism to Beethoven’s violin concert, the prototype of all subsequent Romantic music. Boris Blacher, a pivotal figure in 20th century Germany, ideally combines these two masterpieces with Pentagramm, a composition for strings performed for the first time in Italy.
