The long trajectory dedicated to Johannes Brahms’ orchestra masterpieces reaches its final chapter with the Double Concerto for violin and cello. Combining the symphonic and concert form in one single masterpiece, the genius from Hamburg put an end to the long line of concerts and symphonies with which he had been studding his long musical career since 1862. Not surprisingly, Brahms himself, at the young age of fifty-four, defined this concert as «my mad, last composition».
- Violin Luca Santaniello
- Cello Erica Piccotti
