Programme
Edvard Grieg Suite n. 1 op. 46 from "Peer Gynt"
Nuno Côrte-Real "Noa - Noa" (premiere)
Antonin Dvořàk Symphony n. 9 in E minor op. 95 "From the New World"

Scandinavia, Polynesia, North America: these are the three stages through which Nuno Côrte-Real will conduct us, during his debut on laVerdi’s podium in his double role as director and composer. An intermediate stage between Grieg and Dvořák will in fact be Noa-Noa, the symphonic composition inspired on the travel journal with the same name written by Paul Gauguin during his stay in Tahiti, a magical land where the great French painter rediscovered an instinctive and genuine world.
