Igor Stravinskij Suite from "Pulcinella"
Sergej Prokof'ev Symphony n. 5 in B flat major op. 100
Dobrinka Tabakova Suite in old style

In an almost anachronistic game, Maxim Rysanov, a conductor and violist gifted with remarkable sensitivity, will lead laVerdi through two twentieth-century masterpieces that found their lifeblood in the past: Martinů’s Rhapsody for viola and orchestra (1952), which interprets the memories of the Romantic season with nostalgic lyricism, and Stravinskij’s Pulcinella Suite (1919), a Neoclassical masterpiece that was entirely composed on music that was attributed to the Baroque genius of G. B. Pergolesi at the time.
