Programme
Robert Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor op. 54
Franz Schubert Symphony n. 9 in C major D 944 "The Great"

Exceptional heirs of Beethoven’s revolution, Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann represent the throbbing heart of German Romanticism. Alexander Lonquich, one of the most acclaimed pianists of his generation, will approach them and their restless brilliance: in his double role as conductor and soloist, the German musician will perform two of the most evocative compositions of that golden period, which are true cornerstones of our symphonic and concert repertoire.
