laVerdi organises the latest in a seies of events that have been very successful in past years and that were an important time for fundraising, necessary for the development of our institution.

The evening program includes a gala dinner preceded by a short concert at Auditorium of Gruppo 24 ORE enlivened by musical intervals.

During the concert, Maestro Giuseppe Grazioli will conduct laVerdi in performing 10 famed pieces that are some of the most famous bis performed by the major orchestras thoughout the world.

Carry on with discovery dedicated to the music of the 20th century with a new appointment by Maestro Francesco Maria Colombo.

Maestro Colombo will perform Kleine Dreigroschenmusik from Kurt Weill. Also plans examples from Kurt Weill's Lieder.

 

Brunch

 

After the concert, it will be staged a Brunch in the Foyer Bar of the Auditorium di Milano Fondazione Cariplo from 12.45 am to 2.45 pm. The cost per person is euro 18, booking at n. 02.83389.401/402/403.

In this CD, recorded at the Auditorium of Milan, the renowned American soprano Renée Fleming with Orchestra Sinfonica e Coro Sinfonico di Milano Giuseppe Verdi,directed by Marco Armiliato,has performed many valuable pages of Italian composers of the nineteenth and twentieth century: from Puccini to Mascagni, from Leoncavallo to Giordano, from Catalani to Cilea.

On the anniversary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin that took place on May 1st 1810, laVerdi organizes, in collaboration with Accademia Pianistica Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro” of Imola, the cycle "Tutto Chopin" ("All Chopin") that opens Wednesday, February 17th and ends Monday 22.

The Cycle will again present the complete works by Chopin, beginning from the compositions for piano, going to concerts for piano and orchestra, without forgetting the compositions of chamber music.

Haydn review, conceived and directed by M° Giuseppe Grazioli, comes on the occasion for the bicentenary of the death of the artist, with the intent to make know and appreciate a reasoned selection of the production of the Austrian composer.

The fifth appointment is dedicated to the theme of “Music” with the performances of Symphony n. 38 in C Major Echo, Symphony concertante in B flat major and Symphony of goodbyes n. 45 in F sharp minor.
