Also this year, the forth consecutive year, orchestra Verdi is presenting itself in front of public with its traditional gala evening, to inaugurate the opening of the cultural activities of Milan.

In the splendid scenario of Cloister of Museum Diocesano, On the 13th of September the Orchestra Verdi will be glad to welcome its gests to living one night of music and lights during an evening full of surprises.

 

The suggestive frame of Cloister of Saint Eustorgio will become the fifth performance of this important evening, organized by Giuseppe Verdi s Foundation Symphonic orchestra and choir of Milan . To gaiter funds for the orchestra and choir.

 

The actors Elena Ghiaurov will make the introduction to the evening which will be full of magical moments and the light jokes and music. The concert will be directed by Maestro Ruben Jais, following the program, the suite from the Fairy Queen of Henry Purcell, it will followed by G. F. Handel Music for the Royal Fireworks.

The outcome of the evening will be donated to Giuseppe Verdi s Foundation Symphonic orchestra and choir of Milan.

 

The Verdi, musical foundation with large majority of funds gathered by  citizens, thus follows he example of the major European and American orchestra which organize performances and events finalized to gather funds and witnessing a growing relationship between cities and cultural institutions.
