I Piccoli Musici, choir
The Choir “I Piccoli Musici” from Casazza, near Bergamo in Northern Italy,  was founded in 1986 and conducted ever since the founding by the director Mario Mora. The choir is the expression of the music school also called “I Piccoli Musici”.
During its intense musical activity, the Choir has been invited to perform in important International Choral Festivals, such as the Europeen Festival de Chorales d' Enfants, the Festival des Choeurs Laureats and the Festival d'Ambronay in France; European Festival in Basel, the Festival of Legnano, Aquileia, Cagliari, and the XVIII° Festival Internazionale di Musiche Polifoniche “Voci d'Europa” of Porto Torres, International Festival of Loreto.
The Choir has taken part  in the following national and international competitions:
Vittorio Veneto (1994 and 2000):
1° place and Gran Premio Efrem Casagrande;
Arezzo (1995):
1° place and prize for the best Italian choir;
the musical critics described it as “a wonderful example of refined Italian musicality”;
Riva del Garda (1998):
1° place, prize for the best Italian choir and prize of the popular jury.
Quartiano (2005):
1° place, prize for the performance of the song with the highest medium vote,
prize for the highest medium vote among all the sections at the competition.
I Piccoli Musici performed also in concerts broadcast by R.A.I., Mediaste and Tv Svizzera: “Natale in Vaticano”, “Un Papa di nome Giovanni”,  “Note di Natale”, “Natale nel Duomo di Milano”, “Christmas Time”.
The Choir took part in operas like “Carmen”, “Bohème”, “Turandot”, “Hansel e Gretel”, “Mefistofele”, “Rappresentatione di Anima et di Corpo”, “Carmina Burana”, “Symphony n. 3 by Mahler”, “The Little Sweep”, “Building a city”, “The Ark of Noè”, “Sister Angelica”,  “The little Singer”,  “Brundibar”, “Passion according to Matteo”, “L'Enfant e les sortileges”,
I Piccoli Musici have collaborated with: Ensemble Elyma in the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Ensemble Delitiae Musicae in Verona. They constantly collaborate with the Orchestra Stabile of Bergamo and the Orchestra and the Symphonic Choir  G. Verdi of Milan.
The Choir has performed for ONU in Geneva, at the presence of 186 Nations, in the occasion of the tenth Anniversary of the “Convention for children's rights”, and in Milan in the occasion of the “Peace National Day”.
I Piccoli Musici have recorded a lot of compact discs, published by the Foundation “Guido d'Arezzo”, “Federazione Cori del Trentino”, “Europa Cantat”, “Sony”, “Larus” and “Decca”. The Choir has recorded works by Mendelssohn and Britten and a collection of international songs and melodies entitled “Around the World” for Edizioni Carrara of Bergamo, “Willaert's Christmas Vespers”, and  a collection of Christmas songs with the title “Veni, veni Emanuel” for the Stradivarius of Milan, judged by the French musical review “Repertoire” “the best Christmas record of the year 2000”.
The Piccoli Musici Choir is the Cultural Ambassador for the Federation of Choirs of the Union.
