Once again this year, the prestigious Football Oscars evening was held at the Auditorium di Milano.
“Oscar del Calcio” is the name of the event in which awards are presented to the best football players in the Italian league. It was created by Associazione Italiana Calciatori and Sportitalia, and this year's event is the 11th edition.
Football players themselves voted for their colleagues, considering their performance during the previous football season, and assigning the awards.
The event was filmed for TV by Sky Sport.

 

 

Citroen Italia is our orchestra's technical sponsor. The great conductors and soloists travel in a smart C5. Our valuable but bulky musical instruments are transported by a double-height Jumper van. Citroen also supports the project regarding laVerdi and social commitment.

 

 

The prestigious hotel chain has become a logistics partner for laVerdi. Its 22 hotels are an important expression of Italian hospitality.
During the symphonic season, many conductors and soloists will be guests at Hotel Rosa in Milan. In addition, during the New Year Concert period, Starshotel VIPs at will be invited to the Beethoven Ninth Symphony Concert at the Auditorium.

 

Traditionally laVerdi celebrates the arrival of the New Year with Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Our audience ends the old year and sees in the New, during a musical evening, like spectators in many European capitals. COOP Lombardia supported this event and became a new sponsor. It paid for the printing and display of the New Year Concert posters.

 

Our programme includes information and comments on the evening's performance, together with projects combining music and other arts. Last year, for example, Cucina italiana added a series of Musical Recipes, and this year Domenica quiz is contributing some musical quiz games! And where do you find the answers? At next week's concert, of course!

 

 

Another company has chosen the Auditorium for its promotion. Studio Brandalise specializes in renting out plant and flower decorations for events, and it has chosen our beautiful concert hall as a showcase of its creations.
Studio Brandalise has already installed the basic floral decoration, and soon it will present a striking new plant arrangement in the foyer.

 

 

LaVerdi and La Feltrinelli together devised and produced the series “Roll Over Beethoven”. In the first event, Max Gazzè played with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi at Auditorium di Milano. During the second event, Morgan was accompanied by the “Orchestra Amatoriale laVerdi”, the orchestra for amateur musicians. On the occasion of the launch of More Classical Charter, the two rock singers described their relationship with classical music. A different type of audience witnessed this "musical experiment"... and it was a great success!
 

 

LaVerdi's guest accommodation hosts visiting soloists and conductors during the symphonic season. It has been totally renovated, with an important contribution from creative furnishing company Emmelunga. Kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms in unmistakably Italian style, for great musicians from the world over!

 

Zaini offers snacks to all children attending the performances in the Crescendo in Musica (growing up with music) series.
Cinderella, Peter and the Wolf, and Sleeping Beauty are just some of the characters featuring in the ten concerts on Saturday afternoons, for children aged from three to ten. At the end of each concert, Zaini distributes tasty chocolate snacks, ideal for all occasions.
